Waldemar Josef

Waldemar Joseph ( born October 25, 1960 in Wolfsburg ) is a former German footballer who was active on the position of the goalkeeper.

Career

Josef played from 1970 in the youth of VfL Wolfsburg. When the wolves he remained until 1982, and moved from there into the Bundesliga for Eintracht Braunschweig. In the concord he was number two behind Bernd Franke. After three years and 19 games in the Bundesliga, Joseph suffered with the concord of relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga. There he became a team regular and played 21 more games before he moved to his hometown club VfL Wolfsburg.
