Walter Posner

Walter Posner ( born February 22, 1953) is a former German football player.

He played for 04 Leverkusen Borussia Moenchengladbach and Bayer. During his time at Borussia he became German champion in 1975 and won the UEFA Cup. At Bayer 04 Leverkusen he went as second division champions of the North Season 1978/79 in the Bundesliga.

Career

Under Hennes Weisweiler denied Walter Posner on 31 August 1974, 21 years his first Bundesliga match Borussia Monchengladbach. For the Posner Borussia only completed one more game before he became German champions and UEFA Cup winners in the 2nd Bundesliga Bayer 04 Leverkusen. When the factory self he became a regular player and graduated 140 second league games before it. According to the 1978/79 season as the front runner with his new club returned, this time as a regular player in the Bundesliga ( No sending off a defender in 134 first division matches for Bayer 04 Leverkusen) After his professional career he was still one regular in the squad Bayer tradition team.
