Walter Waldhör

Walter Waldhoer ( born September 21, 1968 in Kirchdorf an der Krems ) is an Upper Austrian football player.

His professional career began in the 1980s when SK Vorwärts Steyr. Star coach Otto Barić held much to the lively striker, and so its operations became more frequent and his tally rose steadily. In 1992 he managed under team manager Ernst Happel jump into the national team, on his debut in the friendly against Poland on 1 May in Salzburg he met just ten minutes after coming off the bench for the first, but also for the only time, for the OFB team. His best season for the forward he had in the 1991/92 season, in which he was able to achieve at least 7 goals.

Even then, he was known primarily as a so-called winger and Preparer, less than scorer.

In 1994, the Almtaler at that Bundesliga club FC Linz. In this team, but he could not prevail against the star striker Christian Stumpf and the talented Ronald Brunmayr.

His last stop in his professional career was the SV Ried. There he was able to show his skills again. The last big highlight was the game in March 1997 to record champions SK Rapid Wien. In January 1998, he ended his professional career and returned to his original club Union Pettenbach.
