Waltham International SA in Lausanne, Switzerland, as a branch of the American Waltham Watch Company, Waltham, Massachusetts, founded in 1954, as a supplier of the necessary work and watch parts that were not available from own production in the United States.

The Waltham International SA has been for some time settled in Marin-Epagnier/Neuchâtel, Switzerland and represents, since the closure in 1957 of the American Waltham Watch Company, Waltham independent Swiss luxury watches are made.
