Waltraud Dressel

Waltraud " Wally " Dressel ( born June 3, 1893 in Magdeburg, † unknown) was a German swimmer.

Waltraud Dressel of Magdeburg DSC won in 1909 and 1910, the German championship title in the 100 meters freestyle. In 1912, she participated at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 at both competitions advertised for women. About 100 meters freestyle she was disqualified in the semifinals. The German 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay in the cast Waltraud Dressel, Louise Otto, Hermione Stindt and Grete Rosenberg reached in the final 11.8 seconds after the British Olympic champions the goal, but was 12.4 seconds ahead of third-placed Austrians.
