The tub is a 8.8 km long, orographic right tributary of the Ruhr in North Rhine-Westphalian Arnsberg.

Geography

The creek rises in the Arnsberg Forest, about 2.8 km north- west of Arnsberg, at an altitude of 357 m above sea level. NN. From here it flows, starting in a northeasterly direction in a wide curve to the left and then flows into Niedereimer to 173 m above sea level. NN in the Ruhr.

On its 8.8 km long path the tub overcomes a difference in altitude of 184 m, corresponding to an average bed slope of 20.9 ‰. It drains a 11.249 km ² large catchment area over the Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.

Nature and Environment

Fauna
