Warner (crater)

Warner is an impact crater on the eastern edge of the moon in the east front of the plane of the Mare Smythii, northeast of the crater Kiess and southeast of Runge. The crater is very flat, since the interior was flooded with lavas of Mare.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 by ​​the American engineer, entrepreneur and astronomers Worcester Reed Warner.
