Wat Kham Chanot

Wat Kham Chanot ( Thai วัด คำ ชะ โน ด ) is a Buddhist temple in Amphoe Ban Dung, Udon Thani Province. The temple is situated on a lake in the Wang - Nakhin area, where the mythical Nagaschlange to live.

The worship of the Naga is one of the themes of this small Wats, which is inhabited by about ten monks. The Naga is to live on a small island in the lake, which was connected by a bridge with the buildings of Wat and on a larger walled fountain. Originally, the wat was on the island. The Bodhi tree is also on the island.

The Temple also includes a small zoo with turtles. Compared to the ubosot there is a small market for visitors.
