Waters Corporation ( NYSE: WAT) is an American technology company based in Milford (Massachusetts ). The company has approximately 5,700 employees and production facilities in Milford, Taunton (Massachusetts ), Wexford in Ireland, Manchester, England and has a contract manufacturing in Singapore.

History

Founder was in 1958 James (Jim) Logan Waters in Framingham, Massachusetts. In 1972, the merger with Millipore Inc. (now Merck Millipore). 1993 Waters became independent again under President and CEO Douglas A. Berthiaume.
