Wayne Bergeron

Wayne Bergeron ( born January 16, 1958 in Hartford ( Connecticut ) ) is an American jazz trumpet player who has established itself in the jazz and film music scene in Los Angeles as lead trumpet.

In the 1980s, Bergeron was a member of the big band of Maynard Ferguson and partly due to the recording of albums such as "Body And Soul " (1986), "Big Bop Nouveau " (1988) and "Brass Attitude" (1998) involved. He is currently playing with Gordon Goodwin 's Big Phat band. Previously, he played among others in the Gary Urwin Jazz Orchestra and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. His big band CD " You Call This A Living? (2003), on which he can be heard at many solo features, was founded in 2004 nominated for the Grammy for Best Album of a large jazz ensembles. 2007 he put the album Playing Well With Others at Concord Records. He is available for listening as principal trumpet in the music of numerous film and television productions and has, as a studio musician for numerous artists such as Arturo Sandoval, Barry Manilow, Bette Midler, Celine Dion, Chicago, Diane Schuur, Eels, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles played Robbie Williams and Warren Hill.
