Wayne Routledge Neville ( born January 7, 1985 in Sidcup, London) is an English footballer. The winger is since August 2010 near Swansea City under contract.

Career

Routledge began his professional career at Crystal Palace. Making its debut in October 2001, who he only 16 years old. Its for new face he gave in September 2002, scoring as early as the first minutes the opening goal against Wolves ( Full 4:2 ).

He rose with Palace in 2004 after victories in the Promotion Playoffs on West Ham United and Sunderland in the Premier League on. January 2, 2009 Aston Villa announced the change of Routledge 's representative for Championship Queens Park Rangers. After he there secured a regular place, he was obliged in January 2010 by Newcastle United. The winger signed for the Magpies a contract until the end of June 2013.

Routledge came into the English U-16, U -19 and U-21 selections to use. He stood among others, the first official game at the newly opened Wembley Stadium between the U -21 England and Italy in the starting lineup and scored the intermediate 2-1 hits ( Full 3:3. )
