We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story (film)

Four Dinos in New York ( Original Title: We're Back A Dinosaur's Story) is an animated film which was established in 1993 in the U.S.. He has, depending on the version different lengths 63-72 minutes and is based on the eponymous book published in 1987 by Hudson Talbott. The film is about two children who are experiencing along with four dinosaurs Adventure in New York City.

Action

The scientist lovers eye takes four dinosaurs for the two children Cecilia and Louie from a trip with his time machine to New York. With a special food mixture ( Vernunftknusperflocken ) he gives them human intelligence, language and empathy.

First, no one must know something of their existence, so they are housed in an old theater. When the dinosaurs have to leave this, they move with in a procession to remain undetected. But the children recognize the authenticity and peacefulness of the four. In the subsequent turmoil and flight from the police, they discover a boy who ran away from home, as well as a girl who wishes that his parents could spend more time with him. Together with the children they roam the city until the evil scientist named Krumm eye, the twin brother of Professor Lieb eye, she again wants to turn into wild beasts for his circus show with the help of its own tincture. After some turmoil, the four dinosaurs through the friendship of the two children again peaceful and help the two children successfully solve their little problems in their families.

Production and publication

At the production Steven Spielberg's production company Amblin Entertainment was involved. The screenplay was written by John Patrick Shanley, the music of James Horner. The film is directed by Simon Wells. For the cut, Nick Fletcher and Sim Evan -Jones were responsible.

The world premiere took place in the U.S. on 24 November 1993 under the title We're Back! A Dinosaur 's Story instead. There the film at the box office played a little more than 9.3 million U.S. dollars ON.The German premiere of the movie was on 23 July 1994. Additional airing ran in Hungary, France, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Brazil. On VHS, the story appeared on 1 April 2002 and on DVD and was seen on German television on 26 December 2007 at the HR as free TV premiere on television.
