Weld is an album by Neil Young and Crazy Horse, which was recorded on the North American tour in 1991 and published on 22 October 1991. Unlike the live album Live Rust, which was recorded on October 22, 1978 in San Francisco, is in Weld a compilation of songs that have been recorded on various dates of the tour.
In part, Weld was published together with the sound collage Arc as a special limited edition ( three CDs ) entitled Arc- Weld. In Arc is just a 35-minute mix of song beginnings and ends, taken during the same tour. Above all, noise, guitar feedback and vocal snippets are heard.
