Werner (Salian)

Werner V, Count in Nahegau, Speyergau and Wormsgau, is the first historically tangible Salian.

Over his lifetime and family relationships, the assumptions go, however far apart:

According to Andreas Thiele he is - as Werner V. (c. 899, † 935 ) - son of " Earl Werner IV ( Walaho IV? ) In Wormsgau and an unidentified sister of King Conrad I " ( Conradines )

After Rüdiger Barth 's " V. Werner, † after 935 ... source moderately hardly tangible, but heard from genealogical grounds between Werner IV and Conrad the Red ... His wife could be: ∞ Hicha of Swabia, † after 950, daughter of Duke Burchard II

Detlev Schwennicke looks Werner ( † probably 920) itself (or also ) as a husband of one unnamed Konradinerin, and father of Conrad the Red.
