Werner Schley

Schley began his football at FC Basel North Star. The goalkeeper played at FC Basel 1952-1953. 1953-54 at Grasshopper Club Zurich and then again from 1954 to 1958 at FC Basel. From 1958 to 1965 he was at FC Zurich. In the 60s, was one of his teammates among others, the former Switzerland coach Kobi Kuhn. In 1953 he was awarded the FCB and 1963 he was with the Swiss champions FC Zurich. In the 1963-64 season he reached with FC Zurich in the Champions' Cup semi-final against Real Madrid.
