Werner Stock

Werner Stock ( born October 20, 1903 in Sanger Hausen, † April 30, 1972 in Berlin; native Werner Bruno Wilhelm Hermann floor) was a German actor.

Biography

Stock studied until the mid-twenties six semester German literature, philosophy and theater studies. After graduating, he came to Stuttgart to Württembergischen Volksbühne. There he made ​​his debut in The Merchant of Venice.

In 1927 he went to the State Theater in Kassel, in 1932 he was engaged at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin artists. Stock worked in the following years until the war ended in various Berlin theaters like the Schiller Theatre and the Playhouse at the gendarmerie market.

1946 Stock was appointed Artistic Director of the Mecklenburg State Theatre Schwerin.
