Wesley Coe

Wesley Coe ( William Wesley Coe, Jr., born May 8, 1879 in Boston, † December 24, 1926 in Bozeman ) was an American shot putter.

1901 to 1902 he was British champion.

At the Olympic Games in 1904 in St. Louis, he won the silver medal with 14.40 m behind compatriot Ralph Rose, who set a world record of 14.81 m.

In 1905 he was the world record of 15.09 m U.S. champion, and in 1906 he defended this item. At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 he finished fourth.

When the tug of war games in London, he finished with the U.S. team to fifth place.
