WESSIN is a district of Crivitz in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).

Geography and transport

WESSIN is located north of state road 321, the Federal Highway 14 ( 17 km) can be reached via the junction Schwerin -east. The village is located approximately six kilometers east of Crivitz. History

The name is of Slavic origin and means something like " Flip" or " reversing ".

On 1 January 2011 the municipality WESSIN was amalgamated with its districts Badegow, Radepohl and WESSIN Crivitz. The municipality had an area of ​​17.07 km ² and 438 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2009). Prior to the incorporation of the town was administered by the Office Crivitz.
