West Frisian Dutch

West Frisian ( Ndl West Frisia, West Frisian Westfriesk ) is a collective term for a group of Dutch northern dialects spoken in the Dutch province of North Holland, in the region of West Friesland. This dialect group is not to be confused with the West Frisian language which is spoken in the neighboring province of Friesland. Nevertheless, in the West-Frisian dialects still remains of the originally spoken in this area Frisian language to identify.
