Western Stima FC

Western Stima FC is a Kenyan football club based in Kakamega, who plays since 2008 in the Kenyan Premier League ( KPL). Play their home games, the club from the 5,000 -seat Bukhungu Stadium.

Western Stima was founded in Kakamega in 1997 and played in a competition of the Kenya Football Federation in the Western, which they won. In the first league year they were behind local rivals FC Pan Paper in the Western Province Super League runner-up. In the 2000 season, Western Stima champion zone in the Nationwide League Western. The play-offs for promotion to the KPL were lost and according to a fourteenth place in the following season, the club was disbanded.

2006, the club was re- founded in the same year and won the provincial league. in the 2006/07 season played Western Stima in the Nationwide League Zone A, was again champion and rose to the Kenyan Premier League. The best ever position in the KPL was the eighth place in the 2010 season.
