What's with Andy?
Andy? is an animated series (2001) from Canada, France and the USA. The series is based on the books of the author Andy Griffiths. Andy? was erstausgestrahlt in Germany by Fox Kids and later ran on Super RTL, Disney XD (formerly Jetix ) and in Austria on ORF one (former ORF 1).
Action
The main character is Andy Larkin, who lives with his parents and his older sister Jennifer " Jen" in the fictional Canadian town of East Gackle. Andy's passion are tricks to commit to his fellow man. The others (especially Andy's sister Jen ) are his pranks sorry. He walks with his sister in the same school in East Gackle, where he met the neighbor boy Danny. He is his " assistant " when it comes to pranks. Andy tries his ideas by Loris to conquer heart, but he has while still competing: Jervis.
Characters
- Andrew "Andy" Larkin - The main character of the series. He missed no opportunity for a prank or a bet. He is secretly in love with Lori and I will always impress.
- Lori Mackney - She goes to the same as Andy, who raves for her class, and writes for the school newspaper.
- Jennifer " Jen" Larkin - She is the sister of Andy and very committed to the school. She is also a member of the cheerleading and school spokeswoman. She likes Andy not particularly because of the likes to fool them. She is in Craig, a boy from the school football team, in love.
- Frieda Larkin - mother of Andy and Jen
- Alfred " Al " Larkin - father of Andy and Jen
- Norman Larkin - Andy's grandfather. Apparently he has inherited his prank desire of him, because he has just as much pleasure from various pranks. He lives in Florida and is therefore not represented in every episode. Supposedly Andy's father was once a notorious Streichespieler. But what was only a hint, because he was held by a psychologist it.
- Daniel " Danny" Pickett - Andy's best friend and neighbor. With him he spends the most time and planning pranks.
- Lik (English beat ) and Leech (English leech ) - They are thugs at school. Andy plays them like pranks, but often go wrong. The full names are Peter Lik and Andrew Leech. A striking feature of Andrew Leech is that he liked the term somehow ( engl: or else ) are used. Both are not the brightest lights.
- Martin Bonwick - An aspiring classmate of Andy and thus also the perfect sacrifice.
- Director DeRosa - DeRosa is the head teacher, who of course, nothing stops from Andy's pranks and thanks to those often long detention condemned him.
- Mr. Hutchins - A teacher who is often a victim of Andy's pranks.
- The Steves - They are the two city policemen and father and son. They are often taken by Andy on his arm.
- Mush - Mush is a friend of Andy, who runs the Pizza Taxi and Andy often helps his pranks. His full name is Victor Mushkowitz. He always has the right things are ready, it takes Andy for the next prank.
- Jervis Coltrane - He is, as Andy, in love with Lori and is often a matter of great competitor Andy. Since he always invents something unfair, Andy has only minute opportunities.
- Craig Bennett - A teenager from the school football team. He is swarmed by Jen. He is often annoyed by Andy's pranks and jokes.
- Terry - She is the best friend of Jen and as a member of the cheerleader.
Conception
The show is usually divided into one or two stories. Often an episode starts with the fact that Andy is in trouble and he talks about how it has come to this. The plans of his coup are often represented by Rohzeichnungen that make it look as if Andy Larkin would have drawn yourself. Andy stops frequently the situation (the time ) when something unexpected happens ( the background will be gray) and explains to viewers what was happening.
