The Whitefish Lake ( Whitefish Lake is the engl. Designation of Heringsmaräne ) is a lake in Thunder Bay District in southwestern Ontario, Canada.

The 30- km ² Whitefish Lake is located southwest of Nolalu and 70 km west of Thunder Bay. The lake has an open water surface and has an east-west longitudinal extent of 11 km and a width of 4 km. The maximum water depth is 7 m. The Ontario Highway 588 runs along its north shore. The lake is drained by the Little Whitefish River, Arrow River and Pigeon River to the Upper lake.

The Whitefish Lake is a popular fishing waters. In Lake Walleye, Canadian walleye, trout and smallmouth bass, pike, perch and American Heringsmaräne be caught.
