Whitestarr

White Starr is an American rock band from Malibu, California. The band gained fame primarily through a TV series and by various romances of the band members. The singer Cisco Adler is the son of music producer Lou Adler. Alex Orbison, the drummer of the band, is the son of country singer Roy Orbison.

History

White Starr was founded in 2000. Shortly after its inception, the band got a record deal, but remained largely unknown until it was the subject of the VH1 show " The Rock Life". The series showed the band members both in their performances and in their private lives. Due to the low audience interest " The Rock Life" was soon discontinued.

As a result, the band attracted by the romance of the musicians public interest. Cisco Adler, the singer was spotted by the press at dates with Mischa Barton, Kimberly Stewart, Paris Hilton and Lauren Conrad. The drummer Alex Orbison appeared in several episodes of the series LA Ink, with their main character Kat von D meantime he led a relationship.

In 2007, Cisco Adler announced that he had decided to cease cooperation with the remaining band members until further notice in order to pursue his solo project.

The guitarist Jeramy "Rainbow" Gritter currently publishes his music under the name Beardo.
