Wickerbach

The Wicker brook is a body of water that flows through the eastern suburbs of Wiesbaden and empties into the Main between Hochheim am Main and Florsheim.

River

The Wickerbach springs northwest of the center of Wiesbaden- Naurod, about 100 meters north of the main road 455 From there it flows through Naurod partly underground in a southeasterly direction. They have a size of about 39 hectares. Amounts reported in the conservation area parts mainly include the northern portion of the Bachaue with its intensively used grassland areas and the gardens and to the south the ornithological significance of fruit trees and hedges and shrubbery vegetation at Falkenberg. They have a size of about 59 hectares. The land is under a conservation form a residue of the original in the Main -Taunus foothills large area occurring natural and extensively used green corridors.

The Regional Park Rhein- Main has created in the Wickerbachaue a Regionalparkweg realized a number of projects and the valley as upgraded as a recreational area. This Regionalparkweg leads from the Elizabeth Street that crosses the creek between Delkenheim and mass home and here the circular boundary of the Main- Taunus district forms to Kolo.
