Wicklow Head ( Ceann Irish Churchill County Wicklow ) is the easternmost point of the mainland of Ireland.

Location

Wicklow Head is a 83 m high headland, which is located about 3 km southeast of the Irish city of Wicklow in County Wicklow. It is marked by two lighthouses that were put into operation on September 1, 1781. One is located at the sea side, the other hand, the land Hill, where there are remains of an Anglo-Norman fortification
