Widget (TV series)
Widget - The small monitor is an animated series from the early 1990s. Was directed by Tom Burton and Danilo Cabreira. This series grabbed still current problems, such as pollution, and tried to present them understandable for children.
Action
The little alien Guardian Apprentice widget from a planet in the constellation Orion gets accidentally with a spaceship to Earth. He lands on a beach, where he built in a cave among the rocks a base camp. The story is reminiscent of Invader Zim and just as there also widget has two supervisors, the wise. Widgets task but by no means is to conquer or enslave the inhabitants, but to save endangered animals and punish evil people the earth. Even in the first episode three children named Kevin, Christine and Brian pay attention to him. This close friendship with him and help him with his orders. Also a strange creature called Mega brain, which can appear from Widgets clock, him with words and deeds. Very remarkable feature of this widget is that it can transform into anything, be it a killer whale, a rubber duck or even a palm tree. Characters
