The Wieżyca ( German Tower Hill) is at 329 m the highest mountain in northern Poland. He is also the highest peak, which was filled by the Scandinavian ice sheet south of the Baltic Sea (Denmark, Northern Germany, Poland, Baltic States ) and the highest mountain between the resin in the west and the Dsjarschynskaja Hara near Minsk in the east. It is therefore also the highest mountain on the territory of the former province of West Prussia.

It is located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, about 45 km south-west of Gdansk, in the north- eastern part of the Pomeranian Lake District, which belongs to the Baltic country back. Not far from its summit spring Radunia ( Radaune ), Leba and Wierzyca ( heel).

The largest villages near the mountain are Kościerzyna ( Berent ) in the south and Kartuzy ( Karthaus ) in the north; just south of the tower Bergs is Szymbark ( Schoenberg ). Near the mountain there is also the important touristic village Wieżyca with several large lakes and a breakpoint on the railway line Gdynia Główna - Kościerzyna.
