Wildt (crater)

Wildt is an impact crater on the far eastern edge of the lunar front side, southeast of the crater Hansen and east of Mare Undarum. The crater is bowl-shaped with a flat bottom segment.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1979 after the American astronomer Rupert Wildt.
