Wilfried Peeters

Wilfried Peeters (* July 10, 1964 in Mol, Belgium ) is a former Belgian cyclist. He began his career in 1986 and was active until 2001 as a professional. In 2002 he returned as athletic director of the cycling team Domo - Farm Frites in cycling and joined Quick Step 2003.

Peeters took nine times in the Tour de France in part and ended it as the greatest success of the classic 68 Stalkers was the victory at Gent- Wevelgem in 1994, 1998. Peeters was considered a favorite helper of Johan Museeuw.
