Wilhelm Mink (entomologist)

Wilhelm Mink (* 1807 in Krefeld, † 1883) was a German entomologist, which refers to the processing of beetles ( Coleoptera) and Hymenoptera ( Hymenoptera) is specialized.

Life and work

Wilhelm Mink worked as a teacher in Krefeld and was since February 16, 1855 there Headteacher. Its collections are located in the Städt. Museum Annaberg -Buchholz in Saxony. The Hymenoptera are permanent loan to the German Entomological Institute in Eberswalde.
