Wilhelm Piec

Wilhelm Piec ( born November 2, 1915 in Lipine, † April 4, 1954 in Schwientochlowitz ) was a Silesian and Polish football player in midfield.

Career

Piec played for the club until 1939 Naprzod Lipiny and its successor TuS Lipine. In the years 1945-1946 he worked for Flota Gdynia ( Gdynia ) before the AKS Chorzow ( Chorzów ) ended his active career in 1947. With his club TuS Lipine he played successfully in the Gauliga Upper Silesia and took in the years 1942 and 1943 in part on Tschammerpokal, where his team was eliminated in 1942 only in the semi-final against the eventual Cup winner TSV 1860 München.

In the national team of Poland he had a total of six missions. Four of them before the Second World War. In these missions he scored a goal. For the World Cup 1938 he was indeed nominated, but graduated in France not a game.
