Wilko Risser

Wilko Risser Rudi ( born August 11, 1982 in Windhoek ) is a deutschnamibischer football player, he has with his brother Oliver, both the German and the Namibian citizens.

Career

Wilko Risser began his career at Ramblers, a club from Namibia, for whom he played until 2003. For the season 2003/ 04 he moved to Germany to SpVgg EGC Wirges, who played in the Oberliga West. But since he could not prevail there, he moved to the 2004/05 season at FV Engers 07, who also played in the Oberliga West. Once, however, he was not a regular player there, he left the FV in 2006 and moved to SG Eintracht Lahnstein, who played in the regional league Rhineland. In the 2006/07 season he scored 20 goals and then moved to FC Schalke 04 II in the Oberliga Westfalen. This he left after the 2007/ 08 season. On 5 August 2008 he signed with the regional division Eintracht Trier a contract. For the 2010/11 season he was awarded a new contract in Trier and moved to SV Elversberg, when his contract was not extended beyond the season out. After a few months without a club, he signed early December 2011 a contract with the Maltese first division FC Floriana. As of February 2012 Risser played for Aldershot Town in the fourth English league. In the summer of 2012, his contract was not renewed and he was without a club. From December 2012, he played for the South African first division and promoted Chippa United. There he were writing a contract until the end of June 2013, to be extended automatically in the successful relegation by two years .. There is clearly Risser since February 2013 no longer in the squad of Chippa.

Risser denied June 2, 2007 against Libya, his first international match with the Namibian national team, scoring two goals. His career in the national team he finished 2011.

Achievements

Risser took in 2008 with the Namibian national football team at the African Cup of Nations in Ghana part.
