Will Payne (actor)

Will Payne ( born June 19, 1989 in Bristol, Somerset ) is a British actor.

Life and career

Will Payne was born on June 19, 1989 in Bristol, Somerset, West of England and grew up in Bath, Somerset, on. He is the younger brother of Tom Payne, who is also active as an actor. He attended Kingswood School before he moved to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2009.

His acting debut was in 2011 in an episode of the sitcom Youth Summer in Transylvania. In 2012, he appeared in the feature film Elfie Hopkins as Elliot Gammon. In the same year he played George Harrison in the theater production of Backbeat, which was staged by the five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux. Since January 2013 he is seen as Tony Travers in the ITV television series Mr Selfridge. Also in 2013 he replaced Anton Yelchin as Charley Brewster in the sequel to Fright Night, Fright Night 2 - Fresh Blood.
