Tom Payne (actor)
Thomas " Tom" Payne ( born December 21, 1982 in Chelmsford, Essex ) is a British actor.
Life
Payne grew up in the West of England Bath, Somerset, on. He trained at London 's Central School of Speech and Drama, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2005. During his training he gained his first experience in plays such as Class Enemy, The Balcony, The Rivals, Three Sisters, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III and The Man Who Had All the Luck.
After his studies, he received his first starring role in a production of Journey's End in the West End. On the side of Imogen Stubbs he appeared in Maria Aberg 's production of shrieks of Laughter at the Soho Theatre.
After first television roles in series such as Skins - Skin or Casualty, he received in 2007 the role of Brett Aspinall in two seasons of the series Waterloo Road.
In 2008 he was on the side of Frances McDormand and Amy Adams made his feature film debut in Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. From 2011 to 2012, he starred in the television series Luck as Leon Micheaux. In The Physician, the adaptation of the novel by Noah Gordon, took over in 2013 Payne his first starring role.
His brother Will Payne is also active as an actor.
