William Baldwin
William Joseph Baldwin ( born February 21, 1963 in Massapequa on Long Iceland, New York ) is an American actor.
Biography
William Baldwin is one next to Alec, Daniel and Stephen on the four Baldwin brothers. Since 1989 he has been working in the film business. Previously, he worked as a model. After his debut in 1989 in The Preppie Murder, signed him the Oliver Stone for a supporting role in Born on the 4th of July. Early 1990s until the mid- 1990s, he had his career highlight. He played several leading roles alongside top stars. He has a degree in political science at New York University ( NYU).
Since 1995, William Baldwin Chynna Phillips, daughter of singers and musicians John and Michelle Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas, married. Chynna Phillips himself was known as a singer of the trio Wilson Phillips. The two have three children together.
Awards
Baldwin won in 1994 for his role in the film Sliver an MTV Movie Award (USA). For the same role he was nominated for a Golden Raspberry as the worst performer. In 1996 he was nominated for his role in the film Fair Game for two Golden Raspberry as Worst Actor and - along with his co-star Cindy Crwaford - as worst screen couple. In 2005 he received together with the ensemble cast of the film The Squid and the Whale a Gotham Award.
