William Collazo

William Collazo Gutiérrez ( born August 31, 1986 in Havana ) is a Cuban sprinter.

He participated in the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka and 2009 in Berlin and at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. He reached the 400 -meter run in each case the semifinal round.

The Central American and Caribbean Championships 2009 in his hometown of Havana, he won over the 400-meter title. The most important success so far in his career, he celebrated at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Doha in 2010, when he surprisingly won the silver medal in the 400 -meter run. At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu, he left in the semifinal round.
