William Hamilton MacFarland

William Hamilton MacFarland ( born February 9, 1799 in Lunenburg County, Virginia; † January 10, 1872 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia ) was an American politician in the 19th century.

He served from 1822 to 1824 and again from 1830 to 1831 a seat in the State Legislature of Virginia. Then he represented his home state in 1861 when the secession convention and later in the Provisional Konföderiertenkongress.

MacFarland died 1872 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, and was then buried in the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. He was also married to an Ann Taylor Roberts ( 1803-1832 ).
