William L. Hendricks

William " Bill" L. Hendricks ( May 3, 1904 in Grande Prairie ( Texas), † March 29, 1992 in Burbank, California ) was an American officer and producer of animation, short films and documentaries.

Charitable work as an officer

Hendricks attended St. John 's College and worked subsequently in the service of Warner Bros. as advertising manager for the cinema halls on the west coast. He soon took over their management. During his military service to the Colonel of the United States Marine Corps Reserve ascended, called Hendricks, inspired by an idea his wife, Diane, in 1947 the charity Toys for Tots in life, should be collected for needy children with the US-wide toy. Right after that Hendricks committed in another charitable organization, called the Friendship Train, with which the U.S. goods transported by private U.S. donors in the war-torn countries France and Italy. Work in film

Hendricks film career began with the beginning of the 1960s. From 1967 to 1969 Henricks Warner Bros. Studio served as head of the Animation Department. In this role, he produced a series of Looney Tunes productions, including several Bugs Bunny short film programs. Along with his retirement Hendricks received the Military Order Legion of Merit for its Toys for Tots program in 1969. By 1977, Hendricks took on behalf of Warner Bros. continue to monitor their animation program, including most recently at the two Bugs Bunny Bugs Bunny Easter Specials Specials and Bugs Bunny in Space.

Since 1988, Bill L. Hendricks was widowed, the marriage remained childless.
