William Legge, 10th Earl of Dartmouth

William Legge, 10th Earl of Dartmouth ( born September 23, 1949 in London) ( William Dartmouth ) is a British politician of the United Kingdom Independence Party and Noble.

Life

Legge is a maternal grandson of the author Barbara Cartland. Diana Spencer was his stepsister. Legge attended Eton College and Christ Church College in Oxford. He studied at the Harvard Business School.

After he had inherited in 1997 when the death of his father Gerald Legge, 9th Earl of Dartmouth, the title of Earl of Dartmouth, he was a member of the House of Lords. Through the House of Lords Act 1999 he lost his seat until 2007 he was a member of the Conservative Party.

Legge joined the United Kingdom Independence Party. 2009, he succeeded in gaining as a deputy in the European Parliament. In June 2009, he married former model Fiona Campbell, who had been married in first marriage to Matt Handbury, the nephew of Rupert Murdoch. From a previous relationship Legge has a son.
