William Medley

William Francis Medley ( born September 17, 1952 in Loretto, Kentucky, United States) is Bishop of Owensboro.

Life

William Francis Medley received on 22 May 1982 the Archbishop of Louisville, Thomas Cajetan Kelly OP, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 15 December 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Bishop of Owensboro. The Archbishop of Louisville, Joseph Edward Kurtz, donated to him on 10 February 2010, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Archbishop Emeritus of Louisville, Thomas Cajetan Kelly OP, and the retired Bishop of Owensboro, John Jeremiah McRaith.
