Willie Johnson (guitarist)

Willie Johnson ( born March 4, 1923 in Senatobia, Mississippi, † February 26, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois) was an American blues guitarist.

Johnson is best known as a member of the first band of Howlin 'Wolf, Memphis. However, when Wolf went to Chicago, Johnson remained in Memphis, and Wolf replaced him with Hubert Sumlin.

Johnson also made recordings under his own name, about Feel So Worried. He died in 1995 in Chicago.

Willie Johnson should not be confused with Blind Willie Johnson.
