Willy Schäfer (actor)
Willy Schäfer ( born March 6, 1933, Saarbrücken; † 6 May, 2011 Munich) was a German actor and voice actor.
Childhood and youth
Shepherd grew up as the middle son of a bank director in Saarbrücken with two siblings and went to school there. The French occupation of the Saarland in 1945 contributed to his fluent French. In his youth he played for the first FC Saarbrücken football.
The later years
A few years after graduating from high school in 1954 he went to Vienna and studied at the Max Reinhardt Seminar spectacle. During this time he met, among others Klaus Löwitsch and Tommy Hörbiger know, which developed a good friendship.
After numerous theater performances and many supporting roles he took on the role of detective Derrick wizard Berger. In the episode " Murder in the TEA 91 " (1977) is obtained as a role first name Franz, but later acquitted him Fritz Wepper in a turning accidentally with his real name, and so this was further assumed for the role.
