Windows Contacts

Windows Contacts is the successor of the Windows Address Book ( WAB) in Windows Vista. Windows Contacts interacts with Windows Mail. Windows contacts using a new XML - based schema format in which each contact as a separate *. Contact file is created. It stores general information about the contact. Now, it is also possible to add an image to the contact. For cooperation with other applications, and save the information APIs exist. The old *. Wab format and the open standard *. Vcf ( vCard) and *. Csv (CSV) are also supported. Windows Contacts has most of the features of the Windows Address Book.
