Wine tasting descriptors

The bouquet or aroma, the smell of the wine in the glass, is an indicator of the quality assessment. The word bouquet comes from the French word meaning bouquet. Generally used to refer a pleasant fragrance.

Similarly, a mixed bouquet developed the wine during its maturation from the individual flavors ( see also the article aromas in the wine) the grapes used a whole. Agreed to when one of the individual flavors and when one speaks of bouquet does not exist.

The bouquet of the wine developed is very different depending on variety and growing area. Even the vintage plays an important role.
