Wojciech Ziemniak

Wojciech Ziemniak ( born March 25, 1956 in Czempiń ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Life

Wojciech Ziemniak studied in Gorzów Wielkopolski on a branch of the Institute of Sport in Poznan, where he took his MA in Sport ( wychowanie fizyczne ) from. From 1981, he worked as a sports teacher. 1991 to 1999 he was Director of the Centre for sport and recreation in Kościan. Parallel to this was Ziemniak 1992-2001 director of the primary school in the village Racot, Wielkopolska Region. In 2001 he became Director of Middle School " Polish Olympians " ( Gimnazjum in. Polskich Olimpijczyków ) in Racot and the same year he joined the Platforma Obywatelska. In the 2005 parliamentary elections he won in the constituency with 13,193 votes 36 Kalisz first time a seat in the Sejm. He was active in the commissions for sports, social policy, territorial self-government and regional policy. In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 Wojciech Ziemniak met again in Kalisz and was able to win with 26 623 votes a new mandate for the Sejm. Ziemniak since November 2007 working there in the commissions for sports and since April 2008 in the Commission for contact with Poles Abroad. From November to December 2007, he was also a member of the Commission for national defense and from December 2007 to January 2008 in the Health Commission.

Wojciech Ziemniak is married and has two children.
