Wolf Bachofner
Wolf Bachofner (* 1961 in Vienna) is an Austrian film and theater actor.
Professional career
With a private teacher in Vienna, he received his education speech and role study. Then he was at the State Theatre Linz, Vienna, Klagenfurt and at the Schauspielhaus Frankfurt and worked from 1997 at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. In Hamburg he was, inter alia, Luk Perceval in spectacular staging battles! to check on Wars of the Roses by William Shakespeare.
Since 2001 he has been a solid guest at the Schauspielhaus Hannover, here he played Luk Perceval's production in The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, in Herbert Achternbusch Pallas Athene, in Igor Bauersimas Danton's Death and Sebastian Nübling production of Twelfth Night.
Gained international recognition Bachofner for his role as Detective Inspector Peter Höllerer on the hit series Kommissar Rex, where he starred in 59 episodes.
Currently, he plays in the crime series Quick determines the district inspector Franitschek.
