Wolfgang Hünnekens

Wolfgang Hünnekens ( born April 4, 1958 in Dusseldorf ) is Honorary Professor of Digital Communication at the University of Arts in Berlin ( University of Arts ) and the University of St. Gallen.

Professional

Hünnekens 1999 was the initiator and founder of the Institute of Electronic Business ( IEB ), a affiliated institute of the University of the Arts Berlin ( University of Arts ). The IEB is funding the degree in Electronic Business and Hünnekens was from its founding to 2003, the first chairman of the IEB. He is also co-founder of the Research Center for Digital Communication.

At the University of the Arts Berlin, he is from the summer semester 2008 Visiting Professor of Digital Communication in the course " Leadership for digital communication ," which is offered by the University of Arts in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen. In 2012 he was appointed to the University of Arts Honorary Professor of Digital Communication. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Friends of the University of the Arts Association - Karl Hofer Society.

From 2004 to 2012 Hünnekens Chairman of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce Committee was "Creative Industries " (formerly "Communication and Media" ). Since May 2008 he has been invited by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Women's Member of the Berlin Steering Committee for the Cluster " ICT, media and creative economy."

Since February 2013 he is the founder and managing partner of iDeers Consulting

Personal

Hünnekens is married, has two children and lives in Berlin.
