Wolfgang Jörg

Wolfgang Jörg ( born January 24, 1963 in Hagen ) is a German politician ( SPD). He's since June 8, 2005 Member of the State Parliament of North Rhine -Westphalia.

Life

Jörg reached 1983, the college entrance and visited after the Fachhochschule Dortmund, where he graduated with a degree in social workers. In 1985 he joined the SPD. From 2001 to 2005 he was deputy chairman of the sub-district Hagen from 2005 to 2009 he was its chairman. From 1994 to 1999, and again from 2004 to 2006 Jörg was a member of the Council of the City of Hagen, where he was Group Vice- Chairman. He is also a member of the union Ver.di.

Since June 8, 2005 he is a Member of the State Parliament of North Rhine -Westphalia, where he joined the Committee on Petitions, the Enquete Commission consulted as an ordinary member " developing proposals for an effective prevention policy in NRW" and the Committee for Generations, Family and Integration. He is also a spokesman for his party in the committee for Intergenerational Affairs, Family and integration. In the state elections in 2010 and 2012, he joined Hagen for his constituency again as a candidate and was elected in 2005 as directly into the parliament.
