Wolfgar (also Wolfger; *; ? † November 831? ) Was 809-831 bishop in Würzburg (?).

Wolfgar was involved in 812 as Bishop of Würzburg on a commissioned by the Emperor round of mediation of a dispute between the abbot and the monks of the monastery of Fulda. It included next to the Archbishop of Mainz and the bishops of Worms and Augsburg. Perhaps these conciliators role helped to ease the relationship between the monastery and Würzburg. 815 A comparison between Fulda and Würzburg was closed, had to pay their tithes to Fulda after the numerous villages in what is now Lower Franconia.
