The Woraksan is at an altitude of 1093 m one of the main mountains of Sobaekgebirges in South Korea.

The running in the north -south ridge of Woraksan forms the border between the provinces of Chungcheongbuk -do and Gyeongsangbuk-do in the west to the east. The mountain is up to the mountain tops of trees, mostly planted pines. Nevertheless, here are some places to stay in the summer snow. Hiking trails lead from the northwest, west, south and east to the Woraksan. After the mountain of the surrounding 287.977 km ² Woraksan National Park is named, which is frequented by tourists and locals. Many Buddhist shrines can be found here.
